SDPD is hosting a Don't Be a Bully Conference for 7-9th graders and their families on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9am-3pm. This event will be held at San Diego High School.
October is Bullying Prevention Month. It will kick off with the Don't Be a Bully Conference hosted by SDPD on October 1st. The character trait of the month will be Respect which will focus on Bullying. Bullying is an epidemic in our schools nationally with 1 out of 4 students reporting that they have been bullied (pacer.org). The numbers are likely much higher due to underreporting.
Every month our school focuses on one Character Trait. September's will be Tolerance. Tolerance is defined as the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
